Monica Chavez is the creative force behind House of Esperanza. A life-long DIYer, she shares unique home projects along with smaller budget-friendly updates, all while also sharing the joys and struggles of motherhood.

A California native, she served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps followed by 10 years as a 911 dispatcher.  Now she is taking her life skills combined with the values taught to her by immigrant parents to inspire others where she can.
