Here we go folks, the home stretch. Week 5 brought on a lot of late nights, plenty of coffee and even some unexpected challenges.
Judge, Jamin Mills keeps spirits alive and well, sporting his rally cap in support of all our Renovation Challenge participants.
Let’s take a look at all the action in this week’s judging panel.
“It’s time to rally the troops,” said Jamin Mills. “Some folks are already cleaning up and these photos are blowing me away.”
Ashley Mills is loving how Brooke Larson of Start at Home Decor laid the tile around her window really framing up the space. Meanwhile, The Handyman’s Daughter takes on a tile install in her bathroom that even the judges applaud her on as they typically have an aversion to toilets.
Mindi Carwin’s laundry/bathroom combo is also a favorite, “We know there is a lot going on this week with kids, school and these renovations,” said Ashley Mills. “We feel you on that and are proud of all the progress everyone has made.”
KariAnne Wood gushes over panel favorite saying, “I can’t even with this shower! I’m doing a bathroom right now and I’m totally copying your style with that Allegro Fan and penny tile.”
Vanessa Francis was a new trend setter this week with KariAnne Wood noting that scallops are the new subway tile.
We are so proud of everyone’s progress and we can’t wait to see the final reveals next week.
“We are rooting for everyone and are excited, we know there is still a week of sleepless nights ahead but it will all be worth it,” said Jamin Mills.
With so much great progress, it’s such a toss up on who the final two could be, that our judges have thrown out the bracket and it’s anyone’s game to take.
Be sure to follow along with our 16 designers as they head into the home stretch and “May the 4th be with you!”
