Renovation Challenge Week 1: Seeing Beyond What’s in Front of You

With so many spaces to renovate, it can be a little hard to see the diamond in the rough. Our goal is to inspire you to take on that space in your house to transform it into a space you can call home. Throughout the next six weeks, we will join 15 bloggers on their DIY journey to do just that.

This week, we’re taking a look at all the spaces in their “before” phase to kick things off.

This season, video blogger Karissa is starting from the ground up with a fresh build to finish off her master bath, along with Amanda Hendrix of Love and Renovations and Amy Geib of Always Never Done, who will also be renovating their bathroom spaces into an oasis.

Amy Baesler has Her Tool Belt ready and is taking on her entryway making sure her first impression is a memorable one when you walk into her home.

Cooking up something fresh in their kitchens this season are Amanda Garvin of A Crafted Passion and Jenna Shaughnessy of Jenna Kate at Home.

Renovating her family room, Sarah Wagner of Dreaming of Home Making is creating a new vibe for her family and guests to enjoy all year long.

Also taking on their bathroom spaces are Yuni Min of Love Your Abode, Stephanie Goldfarb of The Divine Living Space, Sonya Burgess, Liz Elliott of Fanc and Eli, Morgan and Jamie Molitor of construction2style, and Jennifer McMurray of Bachelorette Pad Flip.

Master bath makeovers are also in the works from Kristi Bissell of The Pickled Rose and Leslie Saeta of My 100 Year Old Home.
